The Location
The Boathouse Restaurant has 375 feet of frontage on Bower's Harbor of Grand Traverse's stunning West Bay. This beautiful area sets the mood for a sunset dinner on the deck or inside, while enjoying the exquisite waterside views.
The Restaurant Doug Kosch, the proprietor of the Boathouse, has trained his wait staff to provide friendly and accommodating service to all patrons. The wait staff makes customers feel relaxed and confident that their time at the Boathouse will be a favorable, if not memorable, dining experience.
The Chef
Chef Eric Nittolo trained at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute in Traverse City. He focuses on the classic French dishes from Augustine Escoffier, and recreates them with a modern flair. Eric studies food history and how ingredients meld together to create dishes, especially utilizing simple Asian ingredients and fish. It works extremely well!
